THREE Reasons Why Chelsea Fans Should Be Excited About Kurt Zouma Joining The Club
Chelsea are currently enjoying a successful season, sitting close behind Premier League leaders Manchester City and ticking along nicely in the Champions League, and they have every reason to be excited for the rest of the campaign.
With the January transfer window slamming shut last night though they have missed the chance to enhance their squad with a top class striker, which I think could eventually come back to haunt them.
The Blues currently have Samuel Eto’o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba in their side, but none have really impressed too much or suggested that they can fire the west London club to glory.
Eto’o has six Premier League goals, which is reasonable, but Torres has three and Ba has just one to his name. For me, Diego Costa was the man to fill the void and fire them to the title, because if you compare their frontline to the likes of Manchester City or even Liverpool, then you can see they fall well short.
At the other end though they have managed to secure a signing, and it’s one that has impressed me immensely. Jose Mourinho snapped up Saint Etienne centre-half Kurt Zouma, who is a remarkably talented teenager. Here are three reasons why Chelsea fans should be excited about the deal.
