Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been spotted at the London airport on Deadline Day on his way to Rome on Transfer deadline day. Is the Frenchman on his way to do transfers personally to convince players to sign for the Gunners?

Apparently the credibility of the picture is not yet confirmed but Wenger is definitely not going for any transfers, rather the renowned manager has been invited to be a coach for the upcoming ‘Match for Peace’ game hosted by the Vatican.

Arsenal however would love to sign a striker on deadline day but that seems not to be the case. There are reports that Costa Rican forward  Joel Campbell has urged Wenger to let him go to Benfica where he iswanted by manager Jorge Jesus.

This certainly seems to be the case as the player feels he has no future in London and wants game time on the pitch. Despite having a great loan spell on Olympiakos last season, Campbell has been frustrated as he finds himself second choice to Yaya Sanogo.
