Report: Eden Hazard Leaves Comments On Manchester United

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard revealed that he was surprised at how difficult Manchester United have found it this season to win games.

The Belgian said, “We are surprised because they have a lot of new signings and quality signings. It’s a new team, which is under construction with a new coach.

“I don’t like to say they’re in trouble but, if they are in trouble, it’s good for us because it’s one team less,” he added.

United have failed to find any consistency in their games despite going the whole pre-season unbeaten. Part of the reason why they have struggled is the influx of new players and the tactics. Manager Louis Van Gaal hasn’t found the best formation for his team yet and he admitted early in the season that it’ll take the team some time to get accustomed to the new tactics. The injuries haven’t helped United either as a good chunk of players are on the treatment table at present.

United’s last game ended in a 2-1 victory but it came at a price. Captain Wayne Rooney was sent off for lashing out at Stewart Downing in the 59th minute and will subsequently miss the next 3 games due to suspension. Rooney has been United’s star player so far with 3 goals and 2 assists. United next face Everton at home, who did the double over them last season.

On the other hand, Chelsea have had a smooth ride so far in the Premier League as they have dropped just 2 points are yet to lose a single game. Such has been the dominance that Eden Hazard has rarely had to do a thing so far. The Belgian has a goal and an assist to his name and hasn’t had to shift to a higher gear so far largely due to the presence of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas, especially the former. Costa has taken the Premier League by storm and haunts defenders with his pace, strength and finishing. Hazard praised his teammate and said, “He is a very good striker, one of the top three in the world right now. When he is confident, he scores and right now he is confident and in form.”
