Arsenal And Manchester United On Big Alert As Portuguese Target Wants Premier League Move

The Premier League sides are at it again and this time in a more intense race, for the signature of Sporting Lisbon superstar midfielder William Carvalho. The 22 year old superstar who has been a target of Arsenal and Manchester United for a long time now. Both the Premier League outfits are facing injury problems this season and also lack the consistency at times. United who are currently placed fourth and Arsenal fifth  in the Premier League points table are all competing to secure a top 4 spot and the right to play in the Champions League next season.

Carvalho who joined Sporting in 2011, was previously away on loan to Belgian side Cercle Brugge and was quite impressive in the World Cup as well, where he caught the attention of many big European clubs.

Recently the Portuguese international has gone ahead and admitted that he himself dreams of playing in the Premier League soon and has hinted a move could be on the cards. In a recent interview, Carvalho when asked about his future and the recent reports about the interest from European giants, to which he mentioned that few premier league clubs have contacted his agent and further said,

“My dream is to play in England. I know some clubs are interested but my agent, Jorge, is looking after it and I am relaxed. Now my mission is to work in Sporting and they will be in charge of any transfer and my future. That is very important.”

Now, which club finally manages to clinch a deal and bring him to England, remains to be seen.
