Transfer Battle: Chelsea And Manchester United To Lock Horns For A Dutch Wonder Kid

According to express.co.uk, Chelsea’s leading scout Piet de Visser has revealed that the club is interested in signing Dutch midfielder Daley Sinkgraven, who is also targeted by Manchester City and Ajax. The 19-year-old Sinkgraven has been a Manchester United target after his performances caught the eye of Louis van Gaal, when he was the coach of National team.

His current club, Heerenveen will hope to keep in January and once the summer arrives, he will attract many bids easily.

De Visser told Voetbal International: “On Daley Sinkgraven, I find it very difficult to say anything because I’ve agreed with Chelsea that I will not speak about the talents that are on our list. I follow him and that goes beyond watching a game from time to time.”

De Visser also said that he looks for five things namely passing, technique, dribbling anticipation and vision. It is also important to have the ability to read the game and see the right solution.

Even though, both the premier league giants are ready to fight for the signature, Ajax are considered as the favorites to sign the rising talent. He also expressed his happiness just because many big clubs are interested in him. But on a shorter run, he is destined to be in Netherlands and might prefer Ajax which has a brilliant set-up.
