“It’s Pathetic” Arsenal Manager Blasts Racist Chelsea Fans In Paris

In a recent press conference, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was asked about the shocking racist incident in Paris involving a group of Chelsea fans and a black Frenchman on Tuesday night. The football world was shocked and at the same time outraged by such vile behaviour and the Arsenal boss reacted angrily when asked his opinion. Wenger lashed out at those fans and said,

“It’s pathetic. But unfortunately we have a recurrence of these incidents; they need to be severely punished.”

Wenger insisted that it was a societal problem, rather than a footballing problem and that such incidents take place quite often. The reason it got highlighted so much and caught the people’s attention was because it was related to the game of football and that the only was to eradicate such backward behaviour is through education.
