3 players who could replace Falcao at Manchester United

Manchester United seem to have had it with Radamel Falcao, the fall from grace for the former hitman has been nothing short of extraordinary and a little saddening. It may have gone horribly wrong for the on-loan striker at United but at least he is making the big bucks. The problem could be that he returned a little bit too early from his ACL injury, he wanted to join the Colombian team at the World Cup and maybe, just maybe he should have taken a few more months off to recover completely before he decided to start playing competitive football again.

Falcao

Falcao

United may not sign the striker on a permanent basis at the end of this season and this would mean that they still need a striker or maybe even two strikers to fill in the gulf and we look at 3 strikers who they should sign to fix all their goal scoring problems.

Alexandre Lacazette

The star of the Lyon team this season, Lacazette has been on fire once again and has scored 27 goals in 32 games for the team. Lacazette is exceptionally gifted as a striker and has the pace and finishing to score bucket loads of goals.

He will be available on a free at the end of the season and United could very well be making a move for the French striker, he might prefer to play in another club but as seen with Di Maria and Falcao at the start of the season, it is all about the money and while United do not have to pay a huge amount to sign him, they would have to fill his coffers to ensure he comes to United.

Robert Lewandowski

The Polish striker might cost a whole lot more than Lacazette since he only joined Bayern Munich at the start of this season but United have the big bucks to spend on players they need and they won’t get a more clinical striker than Lewandowski.

He might not be playing his best football at the moment but Pep Guardiola does have a history of bust-ups with strikers and this could be just another such phase from the manager. Lewandowski might not have the pace that is required from top strikers but his finishing and movement make up for that and United could very well be planning this swoop to blow off another transfer season.

Edinson Cavani

Cavani is one of the best finishers in the game and he is physically very strong too. Cavani needs a run of games to do well and while that has not always happened at PSG, with him playing more on the wings than as a striker, Manchester United could provide him that route to help him score more goals, at least more goals than he has done for PSG this season. Signing him from PSG would be a problem though as United would have to spend a huge amount but we are sure they have that much with them.

Sports, music, comics, humor, television, movies and madness. The perfect combination.
