There are four contenders, but only one will become the Pirate to steer the Bristol Rovers ship.
The Westcountry club’s chairman Nick Higgs has confirmed that a shortlist of four has been drawn as to who will be appointed the side’s new manager.
Keith Curle and Richard Money are two definite contenders due to their presence at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday, with the other two chancers thought to be Geraint Williams and Mark McGhee.
A decision is likely to be made later this week after discussions have taken place between the club’s hierachy.
The chosen man will then be given his complimentary bandana, eye patch and parrot, and will step on board the ship with the first destination being the local derby against Cheltenham on Saturday.
Shiver me timbers…it’s anyones guess who will be giving the reigns.
