David Platt- certainly still got it (Video)

Earlier in the week, I posted a video of Eidur Gudjohnson showing that he’s still got all the skills. Well, enough to bamboozle a MLS reserve side’s defence anyway.

Here however, is an even better example of a player that once had, still has indeed got it.

Despite weighing in at about double the size he was during his playing career, David Platt can still wow the masses.

Check him out here in a training session where he buries an overhead kick to the astonishment of his Manchester City colleagues.

To put that into perspective, the equivalent (size-wise at least) of a current Manchester City player doing that would be one “whatever happened to?” Michael Johnson slamming home a bicycle kick. Yeah, exactly.
