Joint top scorer in the reserve league last season with Italian Marcello Trotta, the Manchester United player is better known than his Italian rival. Both players scored 15 goals but despite this Keane is more well known.
Although he has only played a few minutes for his club at senior level he has represented England at youth level and was part of the England U-17 team that lifted the 2010 Under-17 European Championship. It marked the first time England have ever won the competition beating Spain in the final 2-1. He also won the Academy Jimmy Murphy award in the 09/10 season.
Although Keane did not score in the competition, he clearly made his mark on the international set-up and has already been given three Under-21 caps by Stuart Pearce. Not an easy thing for a 19-year-old to do given some of the talent in the England youth system.
If Will progresses through to become a regular in the Manchester United set-up, Keane will join an impressive list of British youth team graduates including Bobby Charlton, David Beckham and Paul Scholes.
