Friedel considering hanging up his gloves (Video)
Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel revealed last week he is considering retiring at the end of the season at the grand old age of 41.
The big American, who holds the record for the most consecutive starts in the Premier League with 310, has managed to retain his position at White Hart Lane despite the signing of £12 million Frenchman Hugo Lloris from Lyon.
But the writing seems to be on the wall for Friedel with many viewing Lloris as a replacement for the American.
His ability cannot be questioned though; any goalkeeper who has spent the majority of their career in the top flight and amassed and enormous amount of appearances for every club they have represented must have something about them. Here are some of big Brad’s best bits from last years campaign.
