Isco: The next midfielder set to take world football by storm (Video)

Every few years, a true footballing talent makes an appearance on the world stage that makes fans sit up and take notice. At the current point in time, a Spanish midfielder is one not to be sniffed at, especially with the current footballing capability of the national side.

The next creative force that has seen potential suitors rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of signing a potential world beater. I am, of course, referring to Malaga midfielder Isco. The 20-year-old, who arrived at the La Liga side last summer, has started the campaign in superb form, with his most impressive performance to date coming Los Boquerones 3-0 Champions League win over Zenit St. Petersburg last month.

Understandably, a number of Europe’s top teams have shown a strong interest in the young midfielder, who continues to impress the Malaga hierarchy. As such, the club are keen to tie him down to a new deal to triple his current wages and increase his release clause in order to keep him at the club.

Manchester City are the latest to have been linked with a move for Isco, who has been likened to former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. While the Citizens may not have a place in their team for the midfielder, with manager Roberto Mancini able to call upon the likes of David Silva, Samir Nasri and Yaya Toure in his position.

Nevertheless, should any European giant secure the signing of the diminutive schemer, they will be in possession of a superb talent that has the potential to make it as one of the games top players.
