One day I hope they put microphones on players so we can here what is being said and the interactions they have with one another.
I bet when a striker nutmegs a defender he gives them loads of ‘trash talk’. It is all part of the game, winning the psychological batte thus making your opponent feel inferior.
This is brilliant from Robin van Persie, though, who shows that he has been living in England long enough to know how to use the wanker hand gesture. From last year’s Liverpool vs Arsenal fixture, he does like it like a pro, very subtle but notciable enough and in the direction of Martin Kelly.
