Robin van Persie leaves behind tips to Arsenal trio (Video)

Robin van persie scored his first goals against Arsenal at the first time of asking for Manchester United last Saturday, damning the gunners to a disappointing defeat, but at least he tried to leave them some tips?

The footage came in the then skipper’s final game for the club, a game where he came off the bench to mixed receptions from the Arsenal faithful in Cologne in the friendly. Van Persie is shown trying to teach a new skill to Arsenal players Johan Djourou, Marouane Chamakh and Laurent Koscielny, not the greatest of pupils I wouldn’t have thought.

Fringe players Johan Djourou and Marouane Chamakh admirably (they were never really going to be able to do something RVP could do were they) took on the challenge, and duelly failed, while Laurent Koscielny seemed to take the approach:

“I’m a defender, who cares”.

The Dutch striker endured a difficult final few months under Arsene Wenger, not helped by a possible ill-advised letter to the board (must’ve been the work of agents) and criticism from Arsenal fans left right and centre.

Maybe van Persie taught the trio something else, as all three have not started the season well – in Chamakh’s and Djourou’s case they have hardly played – while Koscielny has been forced out the team by the captaincy of Thomas Vermaelen, and fine form of German Per Mertesacker.

IT’S A CURSE!!
