Scoring on your debut (Video)
This has to be the most effective way of enamouring yourself to your new fans.
There’s no better way of justifying the (often ludicrous) transfer fee your new club has paid for you than by immediately repaying a small part of it.
To that end here’s one of the finest debut goals ever scored, made all the sweeter considering the two teams involved and the sheer audacity of the strike.
Danny Rose can play until he’s 50 but I doubt he’ll come close to scoring one as good as this.
