Giovinco: fortimica atomica (Video)
For the past couple of months I have developed a growing interest in the city of Turin.
I have never been to Italy but for some reason that town in northern region of the country, and it’s brilliant football club Juventus, intrigues me.
The start of this interest can be located back to Andrea Pirlo’s brilliant Panenka in the Euros last year against England and his subsequent decision to grow an absolutely fantastic Jesus beard. Also, Juventus’s 3-0 demolition of Chelsea in the Champions League woke me up to what a fantastic football team the current Serie A champions have.
It was surprising for me not to hear any rumours this past month of any of Europe’s big clubs making a move for their diminutive striker Sebastian Giovinco.
A quick, technically gifted marksman, Giovinco may be small but his pace is certainly deadly as Chelsea found out first hand back in November.
