Hilarious goalkeeping shambles of the week (Video)
Goalkeeping errors aren’t too difficult to find.
They are very frequent, in fact, this is why clubs know how important it is to hang on to a keeper who will not make silly mistakes that lead to goals.
As an Arsenal fan, I know this more than most. Over the years we have been treated to hilarious goalkeeping moments served up by the likes of Manuel Almunia, Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone. Even though Wojech Szczesny is the by the far the best keeper we have had in years he is still prone to the odd error here and there.
In the FA Cup game between Cardiff and Bristol City yesterday there were a couple of howlers from the goalkeepers of both teams and even England’s No. 1 Joe Hart is showing chinks in his armour.
It just shows how difficult it can be for the man in between in the sticks to keep errors out of their games. For long periods of the match they may not be involved in any action so perhaps their brains are slow to react when they are called upon. I don’t know.
What I do know, though, is that this is hilariously brilliant howler from Egyptian Premier League is something to behold.
