NAC Breda in 12th and VVV-Venlo in 17th are separated by only 3 points whereas Willem II appear to be cut adrfit in last place, 9 points clear of safety.

Vitesse striker Wilfried Bony leads the scoring charts with 23 goals, closely pursued by Heerenveen’s Alfred Finnbogason who has netted on 19 occasions.

There are no Dutch representatives remaining in European competition following Ajax’s penalty shootout defeat to Steau Bucharest in the Europa League. PSV and Twente had previously been knocked out at the group stage of the same competition.
