‘Super’ Frank Lampard – One of the most accomplished English midfielders of his generation. The former West Ham man went down in Chelsea folklore when he nodded in his 200th goals for the Blues in this weekend’s game against the Hammers.
Lampard has obliterated any promise that he showed as a youngster, all his ambitions as a young star have come true and he has led his club and country on occasions for years now.
He has played almost 600 games for the Blues, winning 4 FA Cups, 3 Premier Leagues, 2 League Cups, 2 Community Shields, and 1 Champions League.
The Romford-born lad is such a threat in midfield. He recently became the first player to score at least 10 goals in ten consecutive seasons in the Premier League, a feat that even the most prolific strikers would be proud of, not to mention a midfielder.
He has an infinite work rate, an almighty strike, and the passion that every single manager on the planet desires in their team. His technique is something you would expect to find in a veteran of the Spanish leagues, whilst his bullish burst forward are most certainly a glimpse of his English heart.
