This past week the Football League announced their end of season awards and Thomas Ince was named Young Player of the Year.
Whilst it is something of a crime that Glenn Murray wasn’t presented with Player of the Year award, Ince is fully deserving of his accolade as he as performed to an outstanding level all season long.
Son of the Guv’nor Paul Ince, Thomas has been in fine form all season long and Blackpool fans have been treated to some superb displays since his arrival in 2011.
Ince appears to be enjoying his football with the Seasiders, too, as he apparently turned down offers from Premier League clubs to stay with Blackpool.
With his father now managing him at the club Ince could well spend another season or two in Blackpool and let his stock rise before opting for a move to the top tier because he certainly has the talent to make the jump.
At 21 years of age there is plenty of time for him to improve and refine his game. A star in making? Perhaps. Sure a move to the Premier League beckons especially if he can maintain some of the form shown here in this video of Ince’s best moments from the current season so far.
