Well, AS Monaco have been playing great football with their coach Claudio Ranieri and next season could even challenge current French champions for the title.
The name on everybody’s lips is Radamel Falcao. Will he leave Spanish side Atletico Madrid to fulfil a career in France with AS Monaco. The Columbian is very deadly in front of goal being the number of strikers every European team would dream having.
The 27-year-old will come with a hefty price tag but money will not be a problem for Russian billionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev who will gladly accept a player of such talent and results.
Falcao has scored over 50 goals in 60 appearances and for his national side has bagged over 15 goals in 43 appearances so the results are there for him. Everyone in the world of football knows what he is capable of and what he can achieve.
Look at Fernando Torres when he left Atletico Madrid to play for Liverpool, he excelled his expectations and was a goal-scoring machine for club and country and later signing with English side Chelsea to hook up with Didier Drogba as partners in crime as scoring weapons.
With the side now looking to replace current boss Clauido Ranieri with former Manchester City tactician Roberto Mancini, looks like the rebuilding stage is already starting to happen.
