Arsenal have been targeting Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini for some time now, but with reports from the Mirror that the fuzzy-haired Belgian wants to force through a move to the capital the transfer could be completed sooner rather than later. The only snag in the move is the Gunners reluctance to pay the £23m that the Toffees value him at.
Arsene Wenger sees the 25-year-old as the perfect piece to his midfield puzzle as he tries to mould a squad worthy of a title challenge, and Fellaini is supposedly desperate to get involved in some Champions League action.
Fellaini played 31 Premier League and scored 11 goals in that time. He impressed us all with his creativity in the early stages of last campaign however his tendencies to bit a tad aggressive both on and off the ball have seen his reputation take a nosedive.
He accumulated a 60% shot accuracy last term, created 40 chances and won 55% of his attempted duels. He made four defensive actions per game on average and also made Everton god knows how much money on replica wigs for supporters.
North London was swept up in the red Mohican craze when Freddy Ljungberg was at the club, but will we see the Emirates sporting the fuzzy wigs from next season?
