When Saido Berahimo struck to sink Manchester United back in September, people instantly started linking the 20-year-old with a move to one of the bigger sides in the Premier League. However, it now seems – according to reports from the Metro – than the young striker is ready to reject moves from Arsenal and Chelsea to stay at the Baggies.
But what are the London clubs missing out?
He has almost appeared out of nowhere this season after scoring a hat-trick in the League Cup against Newport. He has gone onto to make seven appearances in the Premier League, scoring twice and making three key passes, and impressed every one with his composure in the attacking areas.
He’s also a player who never shies away from possession, dropping deep when needs be to get involved – He has completed 84% of his passes this term and has been successful in 54% of his takes ons.
He’s not afraid to have a dig at goal, either – he has hit the target with six of his 11 shots this target.
He’s a rapid forward who has bags of tricks tucked away, and although he’s not the strongest of players, his movement makes him nearly impossible to defend against.
This clip will tell you more about the West Brom man.
