Arsenal Watching Barcelona Youngster – But Who Is He?

Barcelona are a club who have changed the way of European football over the last few years. If it wasn’t their tippy-tappy style of football  it was their new-found false number nine, and if it wasn’t Lionel Messi tearing the world apart if was Xavi and Iniesta doing something similar behind him.

Their success has spread to the Premier League too, as the likes of Gerard Pique and Cesc Fabregas have made their names over here before heading back to Camp Nou, and it something of the same nature could be happening again, as the Mirror say that Arsenal are watching Barca’s 18-year-old forward Munir El-Haddadi Mohamed.

Who? I thought the same, so I thought that I would have a deeper look.

Primarily a left winger, the teen was signed to the Spanish giants last summer ahead of a huge number of sides who were apparently were after his signature.

He had trials with Atletico Madrid before he made his name with Spanish fourth division side Rayo Majadahonda, scoring 32 goals in 29 games.

He was expected to make a quick progression through the youth ranks but with interest elsewhere and with Arsene Wenger holding a proven track record with dealing with youngsters, his head may be turned.

Here is a clip of the youngster. Wow.
