Manchester United Target To Sign New Deal – Here’s Why Moyes Will Regret Not Landing Him In January

Despite the huge success that Sir Alex Ferguson enjoyed while in charge at Manchester United, there were certainly areas that he could have improved on. By no means was he poor in the transfer market, but there have definitely been some flops over the years.

I suppose it’s inevitable seeing as he was at the club for so long, but one of the decisions I, and many others, believe that was a wrong one was the departure of Paul Pogba, who joined Juventus on a free transfer in 2012.

The powerful midfielder is one who I honestly believe would have cemented United’s form this season as he is the type of player that they are missing in the middle of the pitch.

It seems as though he will be staying in Italy though, as the Mirror say he is set to sign a new contract in Turin.

I think that is a sucker punch for the Red Devils, who I would imagine would have been look into the France international in the summer, and I think they will regret not landing him in January.

He has played 26 games this season in Serie A and created 37 chances for his colleagues, as well as scoring six goals himself.

He has a pass completion of 85%, has won 48 tackles and hit the target with 56% of his shots, and the physical edge is something I don’t think any other United players can currently offer.
