Patrice Evra has been a great servant for Manchester United over the last eight years and has helped them to numerous trophies. However the France international is out of contract in the summer and is expected to leave, so United will need a replacement. One potential player who may fill in is Guilherme Siqueira, who is on the books of Granada.
Reports say that United boss David Moyes has been in Portugal to watch a number of targets, which includes the Benfica loanee.
The left-back has represented a number of sides in Europe, including Udinese of Serie A and A.C Acona and Granada, before making his loan switch to Benfica.
As with a lot of Brazilian born players, Siqueira is a stylish player who loves to burst up the wing and get balls into the box. He is a skilful player who, with confidence, can skip past his opponents.
In a similar mould to Rafael and Fabio Da Silva, his defending has been questioned at times but his impact higher up the field has been brilliant. His defensive aspect of the game has been helped by playing in Serie A but I think he would suit the Premier League better.
United fans, would you be happy with this signing?
