Arsenal are a side that will be linked with a huge number of players over the summer. Their good start to the season, combined with their record signing of Mesut Ozil, had the Gunners hoping for a Premier League trophy, or at the very least a cup triumph that would end their nine-year barren spell, and although they are in the FA Cup final, they fell flat in the league and a lot of fans consider it a frustrating campaign.
However, Arsene Wenger looks likely to add to his attacking options, with a £20 million offer for Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez.
The little Chile international has had a superb season with the La Liga giants but has been used as a substitute too many times, as far as he is concerned.
He has 26 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Spanish topflight this season and has scored 18 goals, but he has also notched 10 assists, which for a winger is sensational.
The little forward is an explosive player who would have some much needed urgency into the Arsenal side and allow Ozil and Cazorla to strut their stuff at their own pace. He is a natural finisher who can also deliver a ball, and has the awareness needed to take the Premier League by storm.
I would certainly consider this is a good deal if it transpires.
