David Luiz could end his three year stint at Chelsea after French giants Paris Saint Germain bid £50 million for the defensive Brazil international. The 27-year-old has been on the fringe of the first team under Jose Mourinho and looks to be heading towards the exit, which in my eyes is a good deal.
Although Luiz is a talented player, he is not the typical Mourinho player. At centre-back he takes too many risks and often gets caught out of position due to his rash challenges.
Mourinho has always built his sides on tight defences and Luiz sticks out like a sore thumb.
The money is a lot for someone who made just 15 starts in the Premier League during the season just gone, and would allow the Blues to splash out on a top class striker.
The likes of Diego Costa or Mario Mandzukic could be that forward, and with the midfield at Stamford Bridge already packed with talent, and the defence securely covered, I think the move is a good one for al involved.
