Angel Di Maria has had a sterling season but he very much playing second fiddle to Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, and it seems that he will be heading out of the exit door this summer. The Argentina international has hinted that a move is on, according to the Daily Star, with Arsenal and Manchester United waiting in the shadow.
Here is why he should choose the Gunners over the Red Devils.
The first and most obvious thing is that Arsenal will be in the Champions League next season while United are not in Europe at all.
The second is the current options at both club. Arsenal play a 4-2-3-1 formation with Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil the first choices in the three attacking slots, and Di Maria can play in any of those slots.
United have Adnan Januzaj, Juan Mata, Shinji Kagawa, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young who are all fighting for a first team spot.
Di Maria scored eight goals between La Liga and the Champions League but claimed 22 assists.
