Belgium take on Algeria this afternoon in the Brazil World Cup 2014 and there will be plenty of Chelsea fans taking an interest in the game. A Stamford Bridge trio of Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku are likely to start for the Group H side, which will allow fans of the west London outfit watch their players on the big stage. But what can we expect from them?
Well, Courtois has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the game and Belgium will safe with him between the sticks. His performances for Atletico Madrid helped the capital club win the La Liga title and almost the Champions League.
We know what we can expect from Hazard. Dubbed the best player in the world under the age of 23 by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, Hazard scored 14 Premier League goals and notched seven assists.
The winger will run at players, find space between the lines and is not afraid to have a dig at goal from distance, making him one of the hardest players to defend against at this competition.
Lukaku is another one that has made a name for himself over the last two seasons. The powerful forward scored 17 league goals for West Brom and then 16 for Everton, making him a real contender to lead the Chelsea line next season.
He will spearhead the attack, create space for himself and invite his team-mates into the game with his hold up play.
What makes it better for Blues fans is that the oldest of the three is just 23 years of age.
