Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have been put into red alert as English tabloid Mirror have come out with an astonishing story that Marco Reus wont renew his contract with present club Borussia Dortmund. The German star was linked with United and Liverpool over the past transfer window, while Arsenal were also interested in the player. However, Mirror have also cited Spanish daily MARCA claiming that Real Madrid have already a deal in principle to sign Reus next summer.
It is believed that the Galacticos have a deal prepared to sign the 25 year old who has a €25m transfer release clause in his contract. To add spice to the story, Mirror have backed their claims with a great piece of information. The tabloid claims that the situation is similar to that of Toni Kroos, who joined Madrid last summer and shares an agent – Volker Struth – with the current Dortmund star.
The METRO however have their claims staking up saying that selling Reus to Arsenal in January would be a more attractive option to Dortmund. This would be better than waiting until the summer and allowing a club like Bayern Munich or Real Madrid to trigger his release clause. Metro also claim that the Gunners have done their homework and are ready to pounce on Reus in January.
