Lukas Podolski has fallen down the packing order at Arsenal drastically over the past few months. The German is nowhere close to earn a spot in the starting eleven. these days its even a rarity to see him come off the bench. Over the course of the summer, Podolski has attracted the likes of Italia sides Napoli and Juventus. However any significant bids for the forward failed to materialize as Podolski continues his bit-part career at the North London Club.
Podolski however reacted sternly to rumours he will move to Gunners’ fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur in January. The BBC referenced a report suggesting that Podolski could well join Spurs as Maurico Pochettino side are preparing a £10 m bid for the player.
But, on his personal Twitter account, Podolski replied by saying that ‘hell will freeze over’ before he could join Spurs, while using the hashtags ‘always a Gunner’ and ‘never cheat on your club.’
Now that’s like a good boy!
