Arsenal beat relegation threatened Burnley by 3-0 in the lunch time kick off at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon. Chilean Alexis Sanchez was again at his very best and broke Burnley’s tough resistance after 70 minutes. Sanchez added his second of the game in injury time to cap off a fine win in front of the home fans. The midfielder signed from Barcelona has been a revelation for the Arsenal since joining from Barcelona and is already living up to his price tag.
Sanchez celebrated the win by uploading his selfie in Twitter.
Sanchez single handedly ran the Burnley rugged throughout the 90 minutes and showed why he is a real work horse by his ability to cover every inch of grass on the pitch. Manager ArseneWenger hailed Sanchez for the “top performance” and also seemed delighted with the return of Theo Walcott after a lengthy injury absence.
