The transfer window is open once again and the big guns of Europe are trying their best to add more talented players to their already formidable squads with Champions League football just round the corner. A lot of clubs, including some of the Premier League giants have been chasing Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba since the start of the season.
Big names like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been in the hunt for the French international for a long time now. Finally his agent has suggested that the player does not wish to continue in Italy which has alerted interested clubs to move forward with the view of signing him. Pogba has been under the radar of clubs all across Europe over the past year, including the Champions League winners Real Madrid.
Despite that a stronger interest in Pogba has come from Arsenal and Chelsea and also Pogba’s former club Manchester United, who wish to bring him back to England. Pogba had moved over from Old Trafford to the Italian giants in 2012 after failing to make an impression on United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in-charge of the club at that point of time.
Pogba has been quite sensational since moving to Juventus on a free transfer and has managed to score 22 goals in 104 appearances. The 21 year old recently extended his contract to keep him with the Italian Champions till 2019, but according to recent reports, his agent Mino Raiola has issued a statement to Sports Mediaset saying,
“He cannot stay for very much longer in Italy. It will depend on the Bianconeri. We extended his contract and we are happy that we did so. But when it is the right time to leave, we will inform them. I don’t know when that moment will be.”
