Arsenal and Liverpool have been tracking the movements of a lot of players this season, as they look to get back in the top four and want European football next season. One man who could make a difference to how things end for the Premier League sides is Lyon ace Alexandre Lacazette. The 23 year old forward is being considered by the Premier League clubs as a solution to their long term attacking crisis, which has been the main reason for quite a few important points being dropped by these clubs. The title ambition, yet again this season looks all but gone, yet the sides hope to build for the future. This season, Liverpool have not been able to name a proper and consistent forward, whereas Arsenal has been facing recurring injury problems during the entire season to their key players.
The 23-year-old has displayed sensational form this season, smashing an incredible tally of 24 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions. With such amazing displays of his form, it was not long before clubs from all over Europe would acknowledge his true potential.
Unfortunately, any possible deals for the French star could be off as the players is now injured and expected to miss at-least 3 weeks of action – potentially scuppering any hopes of passing a medical before the transfer deadline.
French journalist Jonathan Johnson tweeted: “Latest reports say Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette out for 3 weeks with injury. Almost certain to miss Monaco, PSG & Lorient. Huge blow.”
