Manchester United’s 19-year-old talented superstar James Wilson has less than six months left on his current Red Devils contract and is free to leave at the end of the season. However, Goal.com is now reporting that United are him an enormous wage rise, from £1,500 to £30,000, which accounts to a bumper 1,900 per cent rise. United are desperate to keep the striker at Old Trafford in the summer with Radamel Falcao set to return to Monaco, once his loan spell is over and Robin van Persie likely to move on, as well.
Wilson has established himself under Dutch manager Louis van Gaal, with his quick pace and is currently his third-choice striker, despite being just 19 years old. Red Devils midfielder Juan Mata recently in an interview spoke about the England youth international as a potential club legend, in the future. The Spaniard told talkSPORT,
“James has a great future ahead of him.”
“Everyone can see he has a great left foot, it’s incredible the way he can finish. His touch is good and he is quick as well; he has everything to succeed.”
Wilson had marked his debut last season with a brace against Hull and has netted twice in 16 appearances this season.
