Goals from Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and Wayne Rooney sealed the win and United now face Arsenal in the next round. After the match, Louis van Gaal confirmed that Robin van Persie could be fit for United’s upcoming game against Swansea City.

Further, German newspaper Bild have reported that Borussia Dortmund are urging Ilkay Gundogan to sign a new deal with the club. After, World Cup absentee Marco Reus recently signed, Dortmund hope to hold on to United’s potential target. As his contract expires in the summer of 2016, it is no surprise that the German outfit want to extend the deal, as soon as possible.
