Manchester City are looking to complete a deal for Chelsea reject Kevin de Bruyne. The superstar, who is currently at Wolfsburg and is loving life in the Bundesliga has been priced at a staggering £40million, by his current side. The 23 year old winger left Chelsea only a year ago for a price of just £17m, as he had not been given enough opportunities at Stamford Bridge. The Belgian international has been superb since his move to Germany and has been wanted by a list of European giants, who are looking to make a bid for his services.
The attacker has been so impressive that Chelsea are considering to re-sign him, while City are watching every single game of his. Domestic rivals Manchester United have also shown interest in bringing him to Old Trafford, though a formal bid has not been made yet. The best chance that City have of signing him could be by offering former Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko in the deal, though the Bundesliga club has always insisted that they prefer retaining their best players.
