Arsenal face a tough game against West Ham United as Premier League action returns this weekend. Arsenal who are sitting in third place, will be looking to continue their good run of late and cement a top 4 place with another win against a team which actually did well against Chelsea but ended up on the losing side.
Arsenal have been hit by many injuries and also will have one eye on the UEFA Champions League clash against Monaco next week. The games are coming thick and fast for the Gunners and we try to predict the starting line-up for the Gunners as they chase a top 4 place and bring Champions League football for next season as well.
David Ospina
Sczcesny might have done his bit in the past few weeks but Ospina should be reinstated in goal for the Gunners as stats do say that he is a better goalkeeper than the Polish international.
Hector Bellerin
Bellerin should continue in place of Calum Chambers as he provides more in attack and has looked decent while defending.
Laurent Koscielny
The best central defender that Arsenal have, Koscielny has steadily become one of the most reliable players in the Arsenal line-up and has become a player who cannot be dropped.
Per Mertesacker
Gabriel is injured for a couple of weeks more and that only means time for more Per. The German might not be the best in his role but he has to deputise in the absence of Gabriel.
Kieran Gibbs
Gibbs seems to be getting back to his best and he should continue in his role as the left back for Arsenal after having sat out against United on Monday.
Francis Coquelin
Coquelin is surely on his way to becoming one of the most important players in the Arsenal line-up and has been brilliant in his role as a defensive midfielder.
Santi Cazorla
The Spaniard has found a new vein of form and should continue in the midfield playmaker role and will be looking to unlock the West Ham defence.
Danny Welbeck
Welbeck just gets the nod ahead of Mesut Ozil thanks to his performance against Manchester United. Welbeck might not play in his preferred role but he still is effective for the Gunners.
Theo Walcott
It should be another run out for Walcott who is making his return to the club in terms of playing games and regaining fitness. The Englishman has been playing games and should continue in the starting line-up to get back to his best.
Alexis Sanchez
Can anyone really drop Alexis Sanchez? Arsenal do not have another player of the calibre of Sanchez and playing him is key to the Gunners doing well during most of their games, he is that pivotal to Arsenal.
Olivier Giroud
Starting the best finisher at the club is a no brainer and Giroud should be played in this important clash to ensure Arsenal continue their great run.
