This is something that might interest the Arsenal fans, as the Gunners would have their fair share of sympathy for £25million-rated summer target Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin, who explained in an interview, how his red card against Chelsea was due to Cesc Fabregas. Speaking to L’Equipe about what happened in December, the young Frenchman said,
“I got annoyed with Cesc Fabregas because he wouldn’t stop talking, he kept doing these little things.”
“He made me lose my head and, during one play, I forgot that I was already on a warning. I saw him go down the line and I thought that this was the moment to unleash a little challenge on him – something that I realise I did stupidly.”
The Saints midfielder star was quite honest, but such remarks could be used against him in the future, as it marks him as an easy target for opposition players. The Frenchman is expected to make a move to the Emirates in the near future and this might make a few of the Arsenal fans happy, who have termed the Spaniard as a “traitor”.
