Spanish U-21 superstar Jose Luis Gaya has refused to sign a new contract with Spanish outfit Valencia, increasing the possibility of a move to Arsenal soon, according to the Metro. This recent news gave the Gunners a huge boost, who are now leading the charge to sign the 19-year-old and bring him to the Emirates.
Scouts from the north London club have been keeping tabs on the Spanish starlet right throughout the current campaign and Arsene Wenger’s side will make a bid in the summer transfer window for his services. Gaya was part of Valencia’s youth team before making it into the first team squad and is currently valued at around £13.6m.
Wenger would be hoping to get his hands on this youngster, who is surely considered as a bright prospect for the future. Now, whether a move materializes or not remains to be seen, as a long list of clubs will look to sign him soon.
