Arsenal have received a huge boost in their chase for Uruguayan superstar Edinson Cavani, after the Paris Saint Germain striker has had some problems with manager Laurent Blanc in the recent weeks. Cavani has been linked with a move to the Emirates in the past few months, with the Gunners apparently preparing a bid for the 28-year-old superstar. Manchester United are also in the race to sign the Uruguayan star.
The Ligue 1 champions have suggested that they wanted Cavani to stay, but the superstar’s recent falling out with Blanc after the match with rivals Marseille, could result in a possible exit soon. Cavani has been playing out of position right through the season for the French outfit and was taken off after an hour and gave a quite furious reaction at being removed. This was not the first incident of a falling out between the two, but has made a switch away at the end of the season more likely, with a long list of big clubs looking to sign him.
