Second place Arsenal are once again in the hunt for bringing Gonzalo Higuain to the Emirates at the end of the season, after the 27-year-old superstar hinted that he wanted to leave Serie A side Napoli, according to reports from the Telegraph. Higuain joined the Naples-based club from European Champions in 2013 and has made a total of 60 appearances for the Italian outfit, scoring 30 goals for them.
It is also further being reported that the striker has told his friends that he has no intention of playing, yet another season in the Europa League and could move to the Emirates with the Gunners offering him the much needed Champions League challenge. The Argentine international has constantly been linked with a move to Arsene Wenger’s side for quite some time now, but has not been keen on moving to the Premier League. Higuain had previously claimed that he is happy at his current club, but these new reports suggest a possible move to England, in the near future.
