Reports are now suggesting that Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United have reached upon ‘tentative agreements’ to complete the move for Mats Hummels and Memphis Depay. The 26 year old Borussia Dortmund defender is being chased by United for quite some time now and is priced at £35m. Moreover, the Red Devils have also been chasing £20m-rated Depay and the Sunday World stated that an agreement has been reached to get both players, at the end of the season.
The report further claims that though agreements have been reached, the pair will only move to Old Trafford in the summer. Van Gaal would be hoping that his side can secure the Champions League spot for next season and would love to add these players, with the ambitions of winning some titles. The news also stated that United could go ahead and splash out as much as £105 million on the trio of Hummels, Depay and Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling after a disappointing first season for the Dutch manager.
