Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that his side’s excellent form in 2015 has had a massive impact on his summer transfer plans. The French boss admitted that his side’s current form has made him reconsider his plans of adding reinforcements and he does not anymore feel the need of “absolute change”.
Though the Gunners have failed to win a Premier league for 11 years, they have the chance now to finish in the top two for the first time since the‘Invincible’ era. Wenger also suggested that he does not now feel the need of a major overhaul, at the end of the current season.
The north London side have an exceptional 82 per cent win percentage in 2015 and when asked about his plans for his side for next season, Wenger stated, “Massive changes. We have a strong squad, we have some strong young players behind. We are not close to signing anybody. We have a very big squad, so we need to lose some players as well.”
