Louis van Gaal’s side could possibly bid farewell to both Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao in the summer transfer window. The Columbian has failed to impress since joining Manchester United on a season-long loan deal at the start of the current campaign. On the other hand, Van Persie has scored just twice in 2015 and could be sold as well, if the offer is right.
The Red Devils will be looking for potential replacements for their two strikers and looking to sign a few big names. Jackson Martinez is one man who could possibly be looked to replace either of them. It could even be possible that United might look to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Karim Benzema is also one option that van Gaal might consider.
Martinez is at present at Porto and has made 85 appearances for the Portuguese side scoring 63 goals, since joining them in 2012.
Ibrahimovic just won his third consecutive Ligue 1 title with Paris Saint-Germain, yet was reportedly unhappy in France. The Premier League giants might consider bringing him to Old Trafford and a deal could be finalized soon.
Finally, one more name linked with United is Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. The Frenchman has not played much this season and might be looking for a move away from the Bernabeu, after a trophyless campaign in Spain.
