As per reports from Guardian and Telegraph, Chelsea confirm a swap deal to bring in Stoke city keeper Asmir Begovic to replace Petr Cech as a deputy to first choice keeper Thibaut Courtois. The deal will see Dutch International Marco van Ginkel move the other way on a season long loan deal. The midfielder was on loan at Milan last season, but a move to a Premier League club looks like a win win situation for both the parties.
BBC have confirmed that van Ginkel and Begovic’s replacement Shay Given have joined Stoke City and it’s only a matter of time, before Chelsea announce it on their official website.

The Begovic deal is perfect, valuable experience for V. Ginkel in the PL and we get a top goal keeper. #CFC #Begovic

#Cudicini on #Begovic to #CFC: "If you are a goalkeeper that wants to prove himself, it’s a club where you can definitely be tested."
