Premier League champions Chelsea added Asmir Begovic as Petr Cech’s replacement after the 33-year-old superstar joined north London rivals Arsenal a few weeks ago amidst interests from several other clubs.

Further, rumours are getting louder about the Blues’s imminent move to sign Barcelona’s Pedro, which in all possibility is likely to be completed next week for a reported fee of £22m.

The Spanish media was totally confused about the situation and Marca added that the Catalan side would accept a €30m offer from the west London club, but it was the 27-year-old forward’s decision to move or stay. Mundo Deportivo added that Pedro was himself confused, though no offers from the London club were officially made.

Elsewhere, Mohammed Salah is all set to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis, with the Egyptian winger refused to move back on loan to Fiorentina.

Calciomercato further stated that the Portuguese boss has frozen Salah out of the squad and the winger is training with the club’s youngsters. He will not be a part of their tour as well, with Serie A giants Inter keen on signing him for a price of £14.2m.

Lastly, there are some serious reports that Roman Abramovich has taken personal interest to land Belgium International Alex Witsel at Stamford Bridge and has traveled to Russia to seal the deal. The Blues owner sees the midfielder as a replacement for John Obi Mikel and is ready to hijack his potential move to AC Milan.

The Belgium midfielder has also attracted interest from Manchester United previously.
