Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could spend a price of around £8m to sign Fernando Llorente from Serie A champions Juventus this summer, as per reports from The Sun. The Gunners are in need of adding more quality attackers to their current squad, as they look to mount a challenge for the Premier League this upcoming season.
Further, the Italian giants are now preparing to sell their attacker, after they completed the signing of Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid earlier during the transfer window.
Also, a top Juve source spoke to reporters recently and stated, “It’s Arsenal who’ve been in contact – not United.”
“They have made an inquiry but there is no bid yet. But it is clear they are interested and it is also clear that Juventus are ready to listen.”
However latest reports from Spain confirm that Arsenal have made a £5.6m bid for the striker.
Wenger will look to reinforce his front line by signing the 30-year old Spanish international, who has made 65 appearances for Juventus, scoring 23 goals since joining the club in 2013.
