Recent reports coming from The Daily Express suggest that second place Arsenal will once again try to make a move for Argentine international Gonzalo Higuain, at the end of the season. The superstar striker nearly moved to the Emirates from European Champions Real Madrid in 2013, before opting to make the move to Serie A outfit Napoli instead.
However, Napoli’s failure to make it into the Champions League could mean that the 27 year old Higuain could open to a switch to north London for the opportunity to play in Europe’s elite club competition once again, next season. The former Real man has made 60 appearances for the Naples based club and has managed to score 30 goals for them. He was also part of the Argentine squad that made it to the World Cup finals last year in Brazil, but ended up losing to Germany. Now, whether a move materializes or not remains to be seen once the transfer window opens in the summer once again.
